For over 20 years, I have been on both sides of the table at auditions. I have had the good fortune to have been cast in many shows, but also had plenty of directors tell me no. As a director, I have made decisions about how auditions were going to run, what sides to choose, and ultimately who to cast. In my directing experience, I have worked with high school actors, college actors, and adults. I pride myself on creating positive relationships with my actors and helping them to achieve their highest potential in the part (please see the testimonials below). In addition to my theatrical experience, I have also been a teacher for over 20 years. I have a Masters degree in Education and was a semi-finalist in the 2025 Massachusetts Teacher of the Year competition.
With my combination of skills and experiences, I want to help you unlock your highest potential as an actor. With my audition prep offering, I will work with you to strengthen your monologue presentation and provide you with valuable insights from behind the director's table. I am also happy to schedule sessions with you for general acting coaching and help expand the tools in your actor's toolbox. Whether you are new to acting and want help getting started or you have done many auditions and shows already and are just looking for ways to improve and push your performance, I will be happy and excited to work with you to achieve your theatrical goals.

This offering includes three one-hour sessions focused on preparing your chosen monologue for upcoming auditions. These sessions can be done on Zoom or in person at your discretion. We will work together to break down the monologue both for comprehension and to discover the performance beats. You will have multiple opportunities to present the monologue, each time being given specific and relevant feedback, both positives and helpful critiques. We will discuss common elements of auditions as well as common errors that directors take note of. By the end of the third session, you will have polished your monologue presentation and boosted your confidence for your next audition.
